Lovin Island is an independent guide to Sri Lanka, written from Galle by people who live on the island.

Most Sri Lanka guides online were written on a two-week trip, sometimes years ago, and the prices and timetables never get touched again. We do it the other way round: we live here, we visit every place we write about, and we date every price and schedule so you can see exactly how fresh it is.

When something changes, we update the guide and the “last checked” date with it.
